Heaven and hell seem to exist close together. The monastery as the first image resembles to be the threshold to paradise. But before being able to find peace in paradise, you have to experience something incredibly horrible to finally deserve to experience something pure. But what could be the worst thing to suffer from? Where is the most terrible place where you can go to?

When starting your expedition, you have to be well prepared, not even physically but also mentally. But you have to keep in mind that your imagination could never create the worst or the best case scenario you are heading to. You will never be able to find what you are looking for. Every time you will find something different from what you expected. The final image always will be even worse or even better than your imagination has permitted you to see. Your mind will never be able to let you imagine all that what the world could offer you. Therefore, you can never know the outcome or the end of your actions…

Hell.

Paradise.

They are totally contrary. But they are laying closer together than expected. In some cases, you need one to get to the other. Although your life would not come to an end without sins, it does not automatically mean that you won’t be welcomed in Paradise. Your sins will be forgiven when taking the burden doing something good in the end. Like going to hell. Voluntarily. For saving someone else’s soul that accidentally ended up in hell.

Or maybe you enter purgatory? A space in between, without end, without beginning? Undefined… Just one way out. Downwards. To hell. Or upwards. To Paradise.

Who knows?

You’ll never know…
